Who We Are
Modesto Agriculture and Development Organization (MADO) is a South Sudanese national non-governmental, non-profit organization, founded in 2020. MADO was registered with South Sudan Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC), registration number 3368 and received certificate of no objection (number 003796) from the Ministry of Interior, Directorate of criminal investigation. MADO was formed to address the pressing challenges of poverty, food insecurity, illiteracy, poor health, and social exclusion affecting grassroots populations. Based in Juba City, Central Equatorial State, South Sudan, MADO works with marginalized communities especially women, children, and youth to build resilience, promote equity, and enhance livelihoods. MADO’s work is grounded in community involvement and participation and aligned with South Sudan’s national development priorities and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Our Mission
To improve the well-being of marginalized and vulnerable communities by delivering inclusive, community-driven programs in Food Security, Health, Nutrition, Education, WASH, Child Protection, GBV prevention, and Climate Resilience—promoting dignity, equity, and sustainable development.
