Modesto Agriculture and Development Organization (MADO) recognizes that collaboration is essential to achieving sustainable impact. As a local humanitarian and development organization in South Sudan, MADO builds and nurtures strategic partnerships and networks at local, national, and international levels to enhance service delivery, strengthen institutional capacity, and amplify community voices.
Government Collaboration
MADO works closely with relevant Government Ministries and Departments, including:, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Gender, Child and Social Welfare, and State and County Authorities
UN Agencies and International NGOs
MADO engages in cluster systems and partners with UN agencies and INGOs to enable technical support, joint programming, funding, and coordinated emergency responses.
Local and National NGO Networks
MADO actively participates in local and national NGO networks to foster knowledge-sharing, advocacy, capacity building, and collective action at both grassroots and policy levels.
Academic and Research Institutions
MADO partners with academic and research institutions to conduct assessments, enhance evidence-based programming, and promote innovation in nutrition, WASH, livelihoods, and environmental conservation.
Community-Based Structures
MADO partners with community leaders, councils, women’s and youth groups, and VHCs to ensure locally owned, culturally appropriate programs that effectively serve South Sudan’s most vulnerable populations.
