Modesto Agriculture and Development Organization (MADO) proudly announces the successful completion of its new Head Office in Juba City Council and the construction of three temporary classroom buildings to support its Functional Adult Literacy (FAL) Program.
Located in Gudele 1, behind the World Food Programme (WFP) office, the newly established Head Office will serve as the central hub for coordination, partnership engagement, and program implementation across Central Equatoria State. The facility reflects MADO’s growth as a trusted South Sudanese organization committed to community-driven development and transparent service delivery.
In addition, MADO has constructed three temporary classrooms in Juba County to accommodate adult learners under its Functional Adult Literacy Program. The initiative targets marginalized adults—especially women, returnees, and youth—who have been excluded from formal education and struggle with reading, writing, numeracy, and life skills. The classrooms provide a safe and inclusive space for over 200 learners to gain practical knowledge in literacy, business, farming, and personal development.
“This is more than just buildings; it is about restoring dignity and hope,” said MADO’s Executive Director. “We are investing in people—empowering adults with skills they were long denied and creating the infrastructure needed to sustain our mission of transformation.”
Local residents and learners expressed gratitude for the support, noting the impact of literacy on their ability to manage businesses, communicate, and care for their families.
